information on the iconic German tournament:

31st edition.
BMW has been the
organiser of the BMW International Open since 1989.

Schedule.
Wednesday: Pro-Am tournament, with
stars from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
Thursday to
Sunday: Rounds 1 to 4.
Friday: Players’ Party “Almrauschen by BMW
Golfsport” in P1.

Participants.
150 players, the top 65 and ties
make the cut at the end of round two.

Prize money.
2.0 million Euros, of which 333,330
Euros go to the winner.

Hole-in-One Award.
Prize for the first ace on
the 17th hole: BMW M8 Competition Coupé, worth 193,880 Euros.

Free admission.
Tuesday (practice rounds) and
Wednesday (Pro-Am tournament). Free admission throughout the entire
tournament for children and U18s. Free admission on Thursday for
anyone who turns up in Lederhosen or Dirndl (traditional Bavarian dress).

Sustainability.
Consistent waste separation,
reusable systems, avoidance of disposable crockery, reusable bottles,
treatment of grey water and energy-efficient air conditioning in the
larger tents.

Travel.
The cost of admission includes a free
shuttle bus service between Ismaning station and the golf club
(Thursday to Sunday), as well as free parking at the tournament site –
weather permitting. Customers with DriveNow or car2go cars can park
them in reserved spaces at no additional cost.
