BMW Motorrad Motorsport News: Karel Hanika is Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Champion.

Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship: Karel Hanika
crowned champion.

The 2019 champion in the Alpe Adria International Motorcycle
Championship (AA) also rides a BMW S 1000 RR: Karel Hanika (CZE / Fany
Gastro BMW Motorrad) clinched the title in the Superbike class at the
final round at Most. Hanika brought the curtain down on his
championship-winning season in style, with victories in both races. He
also set the fastest race lap both times. The Czech rider had already
wrapped up the title after victory in the first of the two races on
Saturday. Nico Thöni (AUT / Racing4fun) joined Hanika on the podium in
both races. He was third in race one, before coming home second in
race two to complete a one-two for the BMW S 1000 RR. Marek Červený
(CZE) also lined up at Most on his Wepol Racing RR, finishing seventh
and sixth. Miloš Cihak (CZE / BMW Czech) finished sixth and tenth to
claim two top-ten finishes. Ireneusz Sikora (POL / BMW Sikora
Motorsport) also finished in the top ten in both races, in tenth and
ninth places.

 

International German Motorcycle Championship: Successful end
to season for champion Ilya Mikhalchik.

The International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) already knew
its 2019 champion before the finale: Ilya Mikhalchik (UKR) wrapped up
the title at the penultimate round of the season at Assen (NED).
Champion Mikhalchik brought the season to a successful close at
Hockenheim (GER). The Ukrainian added to his list of victories in race
one on his BMW S 1000 RR, run by the alpha Racing-van-Zon-BMW team. He
was then runner-up to guest starter Marvin Fritz (GER / Yamaha) in
race two. He was joined on the Hockenheim podium by Bastien Mackels
(BEL), who was third in the first of the two races. At the end of the
season, three BMW racers occupied the top three spots in the
championship standings: Mikhalchik is champion, his team-make Julian
Puffe (GER) finished runner-up, while third place went to Pepijn
Bijsterbosch (NED / Team Dutch Comfort Houses).

 

FIM European Superstock 1000 Cup: Brace of wins for Michal
Filla at Most.

The FIM European Superstock 1000 Cup (EU STK) was also at Most (CZE)
for the final round of its season. There was simply no beating one
rider: Michal Filla (CZE). He won both races on his BMW S 1000 RR, run
by BMW Sikora Motorsport, and set the fastest lap on both occasions.
Michal Prášek (CZE / Rohac-Fejta Moto Racing) finished fourth and
eighth at the season finale.

 

South African Superbike Championship: Podium for Lance Isaacs.

The South African Superbike Championship (RSA SBK) travelled to
Killarney (RSA) for the seventh and penultimate event of its season.
BMW rider Lance Isaacs (RSA) from the LIR / Supabets Gaming Group
crashed out in the first of the two races. However, Isaacs pushed hard
again in race two and was rewarded with another podium finish, coming
home third on his BMW S 1000 RR.

 

BMW Motorrad BoxerCup: Chris Höfer is champion.

The title race in the relaunched BMW Motorrad BoxerCup promoted by
Wilbers was decided at the final round of the season at the
Hockenheimring (GER). The 2019 champion is Chris Höfer (GER). The
Wunderlich Motorsport rider enjoyed a perfect weekend at Hockenheim,
winning both races. His team-mate Nate Kern (USA) was runner-up both
times. Kern also finished second in the Riders’ Championship. Marvin
Jürgens (GER / Team Motorsport Burgdorf) was third in race one and
came home fourth, behind guest starter Jürgen Fuchs (GER), in race
two. Jürgens ended the season third in the championship. This series
sees riders go head to head on identical BoxerCup bikes.
