DETROIT (Wednesday, February 24, 2016) — Four Chevrolet vehicles ranked highest in their segments in the 2016 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study. Additionally, two other Chevrolet models placed in the Top 3 in their respective segments, helping the brand achieve its best results ever in the benchmark dependability study.

“Chevrolet is delivering great performance, design, technology and value across the entire vehicle lineup,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. “Being recognized by J.D. Power for having the most dependable vehicles in key segments is a tremendous honor and demonstration that Chevrolet is the brand that customers can truly count on.”

Segment-leading models:

  • Malibu—Segment Award, Midsize Car (2nd Year in a Row)
  • Camaro—Segment Award, Midsize Sporty Car (4th Year in a Row)
  • Equinox—Segment Award, Compact SUV built in Canada
  • Silverado HD—Segment Award, Large Heavy Duty Pickup (2nd Year in a Row)

The Tahoe ranks second in the large SUV segment and the Silverado ranks third in the Large Light Duty Pickup segment.

The 2016 study measures 2013 model-year vehicles owners dependability within its third ownership year.
