What happens when you mix driving, live music, and sightseeing in Canada’s largest city? For Fiesta Overdrive Experience contest winners, it was 3 days of amazing and unforgettable #FiestaMoments.
Congratulations to Amber Ceretti from Halifax, Julia Wong from Vancouver, and Claudia Lachance-Bussiers from Quebec City, the 3 winners selected from entries across Canada! They were whisked away to Toronto, each with a friend in tow, for an exciting VIP weekend.
To start the Overdrive Experience, each winner got the keys to their weekend ride, the Ford Fiesta. And it’s a good thing the Fiesta is up for anything, because an exciting three days of discovering the best of Toronto was in store for the winners and their friends. For a taste of Toronto’s exciting nightlife, they headed to The Drake Hotel, one of trendy Queen West’s hippest hangouts.
Cruising from one scene to another, the winners fuelled up with a delicious coffee and artisanal treat from Balzacs, which was the perfect complement to a day of shopping at fabulous fashion destinations like GotStyle. Plus, we think our winners (and their tired arms!) would agree that with space to store all their purchases, the Fiesta made the perfect shopping companion. But the excitement didn’t stop there. With Fiesta driving the experience, our fabulous winners weren’t going to get all dressed up with nowhere to go!
The biggest thrill of the weekend came when they received a surprise phone call from the Arkells, inviting them to the concert that evening! After our winners got over the shock of getting to speak to one of Canada’s most popular bands, they hopped in the Fiesta and headed to the show at The Danforth Music Hall. Dancing and singing along to all the Arkells’ hits, the winners had an incredible time.
