The smile on Jayden’s face says it all.

Taking in his very first Toronto Raptors game at the Air Canada Centre, the boy enjoyed every moment. The food was delicious, he was surrounded by pals from his school and, to top things off, the home team beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 92-78.

Jayden’s experience is similar to many kids across the Greater Toronto Area who attend their first basketball or hockey game at the ACC, courtesy of the Community Suites program hosted by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. Ford was happy to sponsor the initiative with MLSE because of the great opportunity to give back to deserving youth.

“This program (is) a great way for Ford of Canada to reach kids in the community and give them an experience that they might otherwise not have access to,” said Danielle Bablich, Assistant Manager, Partnerships and Events at Ford of Canada.

She says the goal for the program is to leave a lasting impression on children.

“We hope that the impact of (the program) will be seen in the years to come, as youth who are involved right now will become leaders and mentors within their own communities and continue to build the legacy of community involvement,” Danielle said. “Ford is really proud to be a part of that.”

On Raptors game days, the kids get to watch the action from a suite, where they are treated to great food. Check out the video above and watch as they enjoy themselves.

Smiles were definitely a dime a dozen on this day.
