Home of quattro: Audi presents the FIS Ski World Cup in Kitzbühel

Downhill on the “Streif”, Slalom on the “Ganslernhang”, Super G on the “Streifalm” – these competitions set the hearts racing of both fans and athletes alike. Audi has been a partner of the Hahnenkamm weekend in Kitzbühel for more than a decade and uses the spectacular stage to present the brand and its permanent four-wheel drive: the skiing hotspot truly becomes the Home of quattro between Friday and Sunday.

The Audi Night, to which the automobile manufacturer invites guests to the “Hotel Zur Tenne” on Friday night, once again forms the social opening of the race weekend. As always, numerous celebrities from the worlds of sport, industry and the media are expected, who will get in the mood for the snowy days at an exclusive gala dinner. The Audi Q7, A6 Avant and the A8 Long models are available for the shuttle service. Every car is equipped with quattro drive. An Audi R8 Spyder waits on the red carpet to greet visitors.

Several athletes dare to venture onto unknown territory in Kitzbühel: as partner of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund, DOSB), Audi has invited the medal winners of the German Olympic team from London to the Audi driving experience. Among others, gold rower Andreas Kuffner as well as track and field athletes Lilli Schwarzkopf (modern heptathlon, silver) and Björn Otto (pole vault, silver) will venture, alongside experienced instructors, onto the ice and snow on the specially prepared track on Thursday.
