NFL Sponsor Hyundai Continues Its Promise to Give Fans a Better Experience with Five Youth Camps this Summer

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 14, 2016 – Hyundai Motor America, an official sponsor of the National Football League (NFL), is hosting five youth football camps in each of its five NFL team-sponsored cities this summer. The camps will take place this July in Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Houston, Miami and Phoenix, offering kids a chance to train for the upcoming season with their favorite NFL team and players. Hyundai is inviting fans in each market to register their seven to 13-year-old children to participate in the youth camps, which will teach them youth-focused football drills.

In each market, Hyundai will host a youth camp to bring an authentic NFL experience to fans and their children. Additionally, a player from each team will teach participants football drills and techniques. The camps will include:

  • July 17, 2016: Minnesota Vikings
    Location: Winter Park Training Facility, Eden Prairie, MN
    Player: Anthony Barr (Outside Linebacker)
  • July 19, 2016: Pittsburgh Steelers
    Location: Robert Morris University Island Sports Center, Pittsburgh, PA
    Player: DeAngelo Williams (Running Back)
  • July 22, 2016: Houston Texans
    Location: Joe Kelly Butler Sports Complex, Houston, TX
    Player: DeAndre Hopkins (Wide Receiver)
  • July 24, 2016: Miami Dolphins
    Location: Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University, Davie, FL
    Player: DeVante Parker (Wide Receiver)
  • July 25, 2016: Arizona Cardinals
    Location: Arizona Sports Complex, Glendale, AZ
    Players: Patrick Peterson (Cornerback) and Michael Floyd (Wide Receiver)

At the Hyundai Youth Football Camps, coaches will support the local player in facilitating the drills and activities. Meanwhile, parents will be encouraged to watch their children participate and will have the opportunity to check out the latest Hyundai vehicles. In addition, Hyundai will partner with other NFL sponsors to enhance the experience for children and parents alike. Hyundai’s nonprofit organization, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has also invited five pediatric cancer survivors in each market to participate in the youth camp. Hyundai’s Youth Football Camp program is managed by Advantage International.
