In case you were out of town: WaterWerks 2012

Drew with VW

In June, Volkswagen visited WaterWerks, a German car show that takes place in the polo fields of North Bend, Washington. The show first graced the region in the mid-90’sand was brought back in 2008 by popular demand. The turnout has grown every year since.

This year’s event was on 240 acres of land. It kicked off with an evening BBQ that was hosted by Auburn Volkswagen, a local dealership. The show began the next morning with heavy rain, but the sky quickly cleared up and the crowds soonpoured in faster than the weather. As with the Southern Worthersee and Wuste car shows earlier this year, the fans proudly showcased their new GTIs and CCs along with vintage Golfs, Beetles and Buses: stock, modded, slammed and chopped.
