KIA RACING’S FORTE KOUP ROAD RACING PROGRAM MOVES INTO DRIVER AND TEAM POINTS LEAD WITH STRONG PERFORMANCE AT HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY
No. 10 Infinity Audio Forte Koup Finishes Fourth in the Kia 200’s Street Tuner (ST) Class and Sits Atop the Standings After Three Rounds of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge
HOMESTEAD, FL., April 28, 2012 – Kia Racing’s return to Homestead-Miami Speedway was a positive one as Nic Jönsson and Andy Lally recorded a fourth-place finish at the Kia 200 and now hold the Street Tuner (ST) Driver and Team points lead as the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge moves into the middle portion of the schedule. Lally started the No. 10 Infinity Audio Forte Koup on the front row alongside teammate Mathew Pombo who earned the No. 12 Forte Koup’s first-ever pole position during qualifying on Friday.

“The No. 10 Infinity Audio Forte Koup ran very well today, and we always enjoy coming to Homestead to drive in the Kia 200 which is very meaningful to us at Kinetic Motorsports as well our partners at Kia and we’re glad we were able to put the Koup near the front,” said Jönsson. “Andy and I are now first in the ST points battle and to leave Homestead with that means a lot to our team as we move on to New Jersey Motorsports Park.”
