Nissan: 2017 Nissan GT-R: Precision craftsmanship in every engine

NEW YORK A hand-built 3.8L twin-turbo V6 lies at the heart of every Nissan GT-R.

Each engine in the 2017 GT-R is assembled by one of five master craftsman – we call them Takumi – at Nissan’s plant in Yokohama, Japan.

This is story about what it takes to become a Nissan Takumi and their remarkable skill of precision craftsmanship unparalleled by man or machine.
