Nissan: Carlos Servin

Carlos Servin is corporate vice president, Finance, Regions’ Performance Optimization, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., a position to which he was appointed in April 2017, and senior vice president of Finance for Nissan North America, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in April 2016. In these roles, Servin reports to José Muñoz, chief performance officer, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and chairman, Nissan North America.

Servin is responsible for overseeing the corporate finance function and ensuring that Nissan North America is on track to meet its financial goals. The Renault-Nissan Alliance Customs and Trade office also reports to him.

Prior to his current post, Servin was the vice president of Finance for Nissan North America. Servin joined NMEX in 2008 as director of finance and became regional vice president of finance in 2012. He was responsible for all finance oversight and for leading critical expansion activities during a period of unprecedented market growth for Nissan in the Mexican market.

Servin’s automotive career spans more than 20 years with the Ford Group; he was Global Director, Financial Planning for Volvo just before joining Nissan in 2008.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Universidad Iberoamericana and a master’s degree in Finance from Technologico de Monterrey in Mexico. He is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
