Nissan: Dan Mohnke

Dan Mohnke is senior vice president, Sales Marketing and Operations, Nissan Division U.S. Mohnke has overall responsibility for the Nissan brand in the U.S., including sales, marketing communications, model line brand management, parts and service, product planning, trucks and light commercial vehicles, customer quality and dealer network development functions. He reports to José Muñoz, chief performance officer, Nissan Motor Company, Ltd.; and chairman, Nissan North America.

Previously, Mohnke was vice president, Strategy and Digital Acceleration, Nissan North America, Inc. In that role, Mohnke was responsible for accelerating and driving the implementation of critical strategic initiatives in North America, including the digital transformation of the business, data analytics, and enhanced regionalization efforts supporting the new mid-term business plan.

Earlier in his career, Mohnke was vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager (CMM) Marketing Operations, Nissan Division U.S. In that role, he led the Chief Marketing Manager Office overseeing vehicle marketing strategy, analytics, pricing and incentives for all vehicles in the United States. Prior, as Director of Marketing Operations, Mohnke was responsible for pricing, incentives, and marketing analytics for the United States.

Mohnke joined Nissan in July of 2006 in the area of Dealer Network Development. Prior to joining Nissan, Mohnke was with Saturn Division of General Motors for 14 years and held various leadership positions in the areas of retail strategies, dealer network development, and regional operations.

Mohnke holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northwood University and a master’s degree in business from Michigan State University. He is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
