Nissan: Nissan Group reports April 2015 Canadian sales

 

MISSISSAUGA, ON. – Nissan today announced total Canadian sales for April 2015 of 11,362 units, an increase of 8.3 per cent and an April record. This sales achievement marks 21 consecutive months of record sales growth for the Nissan Group in Canada.

The Nissan brand increased 9 per cent with 10,436 units sold, setting an April sales record.

Nissan Division April highlights:

  • Best April on record for Nissan Group overall at 11,362 sales, an increase of 8.3 per cent.
  • Nissan Division set an April record at 10,436 sales in the month, an increase of 9 per cent.
  • The Nissan Micra subcompact celebrates its first full year in market with 1,240 units sold in April. This marks its second best month since its launch in April 2014.
  • The Nissan Rogue crossover set a sales record with 2,918 units sold, marking 17 consecutive months of record sales.
  • The fully-electric Nissan LEAF recorded its best month ever with 127 units sold, an increase of 64.9 per cent.
  • The Nissan Sentra compact sedan recorded its best April since 2011 with 1,510 units sold, an increase of 25.8 per cent.
  • The Nissan Armada full-size SUV recorded its best month ever with 104 units sold, an increase of 225.0 per cent.
  • In its fourth full month in dealerships, sales of the all-new Nissan Murano crossover increased 70.2 per cent with 618 units sold.

Infiniti April highlights:

Infiniti today reported sales of 926 units in Canada, an increase of 1.4 per cent versus a year earlier, and a new April record.
