Nissan: Nissan Group reports July 2015 Canadian Sales

MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – Nissan Group today announced monthly Canadian sales of 12,564 units, an increase of 9.9 per cent over last year and the best July in the company’s history. This sales achievement marks 24 consecutive months of record sales for the Nissan Group in Canada.

Nissan brand sales increased 9.6 per cent with 11,684 units sold, setting a new July sales record.

Nissan Division July highlights:

  • Best July for Nissan Group overall at 12,564 sales, an increase of 9.9 per cent.
  • Nissan Division recorded a new July record at 11,684 sales, an increase of 9.6 per cent.
  • Sales of the Nissan Rogue crossover set a July record at 3,662, an increase of 30.7 per cent, marking 20 consecutive months of record sales.
  • The Nissan Pathfinder sport utility vehicle set an all-time monthly sales record with 1,141 units sold, an increase of 40.3 per cent.
  • Sales of the all-new Nissan Murano crossover increased 143.7 per cent with 921 units sold, setting a new July record.
  • In its first full month of sales, the all-new 2016 Nissan Maxima posted sales of 305, an increase of 291.0 per cent.
  • Nissan Sentra compact sedan sales grew 26.1 per cent to 1,397.
  • Sales of the Nissan 370Z sports car increased 145.0 per cent to 98 units, while the Nissan GT-R supercar set a July record at 19 units, an increase of 35.7 per cent.

Infiniti July highlights:

  • Infiniti reported sales of 880 units in Canada, an increase of 13.1 per cent versus a year earlier and a new July record.
  • Sales of the Infiniti Q50 sports sedan increased 21.9 per cent to 301.
