MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – Nissan Group today announced monthly Canadian sales of 12,535 units, an increase of 10.7 per cent over last year and the best June in the company’s history. This sales achievement marks 23 consecutive months of record sales for the Nissan Group in Canada.
Nissan brand sales increased 10.1 per cent with 11,623 units sold, setting a new June sales record.
Nissan Division June highlights:
- Best June for Nissan Group overall at 12,535 sales, an increase of 10.7 per cent.
- Nissan Division recorded a new June record at 11,623 sales, an increase of 10.1 per cent.
- For the second month in-a-row, the Nissan Rogue crossover set an all-time sales record with 3,722 units sold, marking 19 consecutive months of record sales.
- Sales of the all-new Nissan Murano crossover increased 139.6 per cent with 1,004 units sold, representing its best month ever.
- Best June on record for the Pathfinder sport utility vehicle with 975 units sold, an increase of 13.8 per cent.
- The NV200 compact cargo van also set a June sales record with 149 units sold, an increase of 34.2 per cent.
- Sales of the popular Nissan Micra subcompact totaled 1,056 units in June, an increase of 13.7 per cent.
- The all-new Nissan Maxima went on sale in the last half of June and monthly sales have already increased 317.3 per cent.
Infiniti June highlights:
- Infiniti reported sales of 912 units in Canada, an increase of 20.2 per cent versus a year earlier and a new June record.
- The QX60 luxury crossover tied its previous June sales record with 352 units sold, an increase of 71.7 per cent
