Nissan: Nissan Group reports November 2015 Canadian sales

MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – Nissan Group today announced monthly Canadian sales of 9,452 units, an increase of eight per cent over last year and the best November in the company’s history. This sales achievement marks 28 consecutive months of record sales for the Nissan Group in Canada.

Nissan brand sales increased 7.3 per cent with 8,476 units sold, setting a new November sales record. Calendar year-to-date, Nissan sales are up 12.5 per cent.

Nissan Division November highlights:

  • Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in Canada – the Nissan Rogue crossover – set a November record at 2,522 – an increase of 6.4 per cent, marking 24 consecutive months of record sales.
  • The fully-electric Nissan LEAF set an all-time monthly sales record with 148 units sold, up 43.7 per cent.
  • The all-new Murano crossover set a new November sales record at 972 units, an increase of 235.2 per cent
  • Sales of the all-new Maxima sport sedan increased 132.5 per cent to 186 units.
  • Deliveries of the JUKE sport crossover increased 32.9 per cent to 307 units.
  • Sales of the iconic 370Z coupe increased 68.4 per cent in November.

Infiniti November highlights:

  • Infiniti reported sales of 976, an increase of 15.1 per cent versus a year earlier. This marks the best November in Infiniti’s history in Canada.
  • Infiniti crossovers and sport utility vehicles continued to be in demand this month with the QX80 full-size luxury SUV setting an all-time monthly sales record of 91 units, an increase of 40 per cent.
  • Both the QX50 and 7-passenger QX60 premium crossovers set November sales records with 230 and 343 units sold, respectively.
