Nissan: Nissan Group reports October 2015 Canadian sales

MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – Nissan Group today announced monthly Canadian sales of 11,534 units, an increase of 24.2 per cent over last year and the best October in the company’s history. This sales achievement marks 27 consecutive months of record sales for the Nissan Group in Canada.

Nissan brand sales increased 24.4 per cent with 10,301 units sold, setting a new October sales record.  

Nissan Division October highlights:

  • Sales of the all-new Murano crossover set an all-time record at 1,143 units, an increase of 127.2 per cent
  • Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in Canada – the Nissan Rogue crossover – set an October record at 3,204 – an increase of 54.7 per cent, marking 23 consecutive months of record sales.
  • Sales of the Frontier pickup truck increased 75.2 per cent to 487, setting a new October record
  • In its fourth full month in Nissan dealerships, sales of the all-new Maxima sport sedan increased 232.2 per cent to 196 units.
  • Deliveries of the JUKE sport crossover increased 45.1 per cent to 383 units.
  • The fully-electric LEAF tied its previous October sales record (2014) with 113 units sold.

Infiniti October highlights:

  • Infiniti reported October sales of 1,233, an increase of 22.8 per cent versus a year earlier. This marks the best month in Infiniti’s history in Canada.
  • October was a milestone sales month for Infiniti crossovers and sport utility vehicles. The QX50, QX60, and QX80 all posted best-ever sales:
    • The QX50 premium crossover’s sales set an all-time record at 341, an increase of 87.4 per cent.
    • Sales of the QX60 7-passenger luxury crossover increased 25.1 per cent to 424, setting a new all-time sales record.

The QX80 full-size performance luxury SUV recorded its best month ever with sales increasing 11.6 per cent to 77 units.
