Nissan: Nissan Group Reports Record February 2018 Canadian Sales

Mississauga, Ont. – Today, Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 9,813 units for February 2018, an increase of 3.2 per cent and a best February ever.

The Nissan Division also set a February sales record with 8,982 units sold, an increase of 3.2 per cent year-over-year. The INFINITI Division also had a strong February selling 831 vehicles, up 3.0 per cent from 2017.

Nissan Division highlights:

  • In its debut sales month, the all-new 2018 Nissan LEAF electric vehicle saw its best month of sales ever with 179 units sold, an increase of 58.4 per cent over February 2017.
  • The Nissan Rogue crossover, Nissan’s best-selling vehicle in Canada, continues to see strong sales, recording its best February ever with 3,099 vehicles sold, up 8.1 per cent year-over-year.
  • The Nissan Qashqai compact crossover holds its position as the second best-selling model in the Nissan lineup with 1,073 vehicles sold.
  • The Murano crossover also had a strong month, recording a best February ever with 1,011 units sold, an increase of 12.5 per cent from last year.

INFINITI highlights:

  • The refreshed Q50 luxury sedan, driven by the recently launched Signature Edition model, moved into the top spot as INFINITI’s best-selling vehicle with 261 units sold, up 97.7 per cent.
  • The updated QX80 full-size, luxury sport utility vehicle recorded a best February ever with 126 units sold, up 113.6 per cent year-over-year.
