Steve Milette is vice president, sales operations, at Nissan Canada Inc., a position to which he was appointed in July 2017.
In this role, Milette reports to Joni Paiva, president, Nissan Canada Inc., and is responsible for sales strategy development and implementation in Canada, as well as overseeing vehicle planning and logistics functions.
Prior to joining Nissan Canada, Milette was director of sales at Hyundai Auto Canada. Previously, Milette worked with Bombardier Transportation North America as director of sales and business development.
Milette’s automotive career started in 1996 with General Motors of Canada. For the next 16 years, he held a number of roles of increasing importance throughout General Motors’ operations including: regional sales manager; brand manager; and national director of fleet and commercial sales.
Milette holds a bachelor of engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a dual MBA from Université du Québec à Montréal and Université Paris Dauphine. He is located at Nissan Canada Inc.’s head office in Mississauga, Ontario.
