The all-new 2013 Ford C-MAX is an exciting addition to our lineup. Making headlines as Ford Canada’s first dedicated hybrid lineup, it’s already impressing owners. The Ford Blog saw this first-hand when we chatted with Montreal’s Claude Villeneuve, one of the first C-MAX buyers in Canada.

Advanced fuel efficiency was the main reason this deliveryman, who drives more than 60,000 kilometres a year, settled on the C-MAX Hybrid. After owning five Ford Focuses – fuel efficient cars in their own right – he decided to make the jump to hybrids. Powered by both an electric and gasoline engine, the C-MAX Hybrid is a great way to maximize fuel-efficiency, while helping you save money at the gas station.

In addition to its fuel economy, Claude was surprised at the quietness of his C-MAX Hybrid. After 12 hours behind the wheel each day, it’s a luxury that helps him arrive home much more relaxed. As well, he said that after test-driving several different hybrids, he preferred the C-MAX because of its “sporty ride.”

Claude admitted that he quickly fell in love with the navigation system and the hands-free calling, two of the features of SYNC with MyFord Touch. But what’s the one feature he can’t live without? Heated door mirrors! “Once you’ve experienced it, you can’t go back,” he said. The C-MAX Hybrid is filled with unique technology that makes life easier, such as Foot-Activated Liftgate and Active Park Assist.

“Without a doubt, I would recommend Ford to my friends,” Claude added. “For sure, my next ride will still be a Ford.”
