Play suspended due to heavy rain. BMW International Open to conclude on Sunday evening – Saturday tickets valid for Sunday.

Pulheim. The third round of the BMW International

course unplayable. Here is the schedule for the rest of the tournament:

  • There will be no more play today. The third round will restart at
07:30 on Sunday. The final round will then begin from the first tee
at 09:30, with players playing in groups of three. The final group
will tee off at 13:30 and is expected to reach the 18th green at
    roughly 18:30.
  • Tickets for Saturday (excluding the Fairway Club) remain valid for
Sunday, so visitors should hang on to their tickets.
  • Visitors to the course on Sunday are requested to use the
alternative car parks P8/1 and P8/2 in Pulheim. The addresses for
sat nav systems are: Parkanlage P8/1: Industriestraße 20, 50259

Quotes from Saturday:

Henrik Stenson (SWE, -11, T1): “It’s been rather wet
today. I mean, we play an outdoor sport, you get these every now and
again. We’ve got a pretty long day ahead of us tomorrow, but we’ll get
it done eventually. When it was a heavy downpour, there was a flood
coming over the 18th and the putting green was completely underwater.
I didn’t play a single shot today, but the course was definitely not
playable in that rain.”
