WIN A NEW GENERATION i10 THROUGH HYUNDAI MOTOR’S SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION

  • Ten trucks, three days, one New Generation i10 to be won
  • Simple ‘snap it to win it’ entry via social media channels ‘#i10inside’
  • Five pairs of tickets to Frankfurt Motor Show with VIP package also on offer

Offenbach, 10 September 2013 – Hyundai Motor is offering Frankfurt residents and visitors the chance to win a New Generation i10 through an interactive ‘snap it to win it’ competition. From 10 to 12 September inclusive, a fleet of ten trucks will drive and park throughout the city of Frankfurt, each carrying a full-scale image of New Generation i10. Passers-by are encouraged to take a picture of any of the trucks and share it through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, using the hashtag ‘#i10inside’.

However, only one truck will contain a real New Generation i10. Anyone who takes a picture of this truck will be entered into the draw to win a New Generation i10 that features quality, equipment and craftsmanship standards from segments above.

Five additional prizes of two tickets to the Frankfurt Motor Show, including a VIP package with hostess service and food and drink, are also on offer. To be eligible, participants need to collect images of all ten trucks and share them using the hashtag ‘#i10all10′.

Facebook activation, including a mobile app, will allow participants to get fully involved in the contest and increase their chances of winning. The app include a map showing live locations of all trucks, a countdown to the end of the competition, a share button to invite friends to get involved, the photo-stream of all images captured so far, and a live stream of the view from the truck containing the New Generation i10.

To add to the excitement of the contest, the location of all trucks, together with the live video from the truck containing the New Generation i10 as it moves around Frankfurt, will also be streamed live on a screen at Hyundai’s Frankfurt Motor Show stand (A01, in Hall 6).

The competition is being promoted through a number of channels, including: Planet Radio, one of Frankfurt’s largest radio stations; on many of the city’s famous taxis; and via video placed on targeted websites and blogs.
